All the right reasons...

Over 6000 people live in the attractive Hertfordshire village of Wheathampstead  and its surrounding hamlets  of Gustard Wood and Blackmore End.

There are enough shops and business in and around the village to ensure that  local residents can find most of the things that they need. A good selection of children’s nurseries as well as  junior and senior schools are accessible from the village and there are a wealth of clubs and groups  to interest most age groups. Sports and culture is well catered for from tennis to cricket, football to archery as well as a drama group, historical society, heritage group and women’s institute.

It’s a wealthy area in the midst of Hertfordshire where 29% of the population are successful professionals compared to the national average of 8.4% and 17% of those employed are managers or directors, also above the national average of only 10%, and an impressive 97% of residents say that Wheathampstead is a good place to live.
